Sara Carvalho in focus on the mic. PT is dedicated to Sara Carvalho, composer, professor and researcher. Within composition her interests are focused above all on the intersection of performative arts as a musical extension and transformation, as well as on the matters related with gesture and musical narrative. In the area of research in education, Sara Carvalho is particularly interested in the influence of the creative process in the context of development of musical thought. Presently my approach to composition and the creative act is quite intuitive and emotional. The manner of approaching an idea always involves a vast sensory process.
